This week we will review and practice rules for capitalization. We'll be using those skills in our short story writing, and we will also begin reading and discussing a novel.
Monday there will be a quiz on literary elements and devices. Prior to the quiz I will collect class notes to check for completion.
Homework
- Read every day!
- Use your class notes to review capitalization rules. Complete Grammar for Writing workbook pages 179, 181, and 185. Tear each page carefully from your workbook, staple them together, and turn them in together on Friday.
