Agenda
We are starting our new poetry unit this week! Throughout this unit we'll be writing a lot of original poetry as well as reading and discussing different types of poems. First though, we need to cover the basics, so this week we'll be focusing on terminology and different poetic forms. You'll also write and publish your first poem, called an "I Am" poem.
Homework
You'll have a small quiz Friday covering your class notes on poetic elements and devices and poetic forms. Study!! You will turn in both sets of notes on Friday for a classwork grade.
