Agenda and Homework February 13 - 17
Agenda
We'll be finishing up our Fantasy/Sci Fi Unit this week with one more creepy sci fi short story, and students will begin writing their own short, fantasy/sci fi narrative.
Homework
For the creative narratives, we'll be brainstorming and pre-writing in class Monday, and we'll spend time drafting in class Tuesday. All other writing must be done at home this week.
Rough drafts must be completed and checked by Ms. Williams by Friday. Students should remember to follow the requirements and rubric introduced in class.
Looking ahead....
Mardi Gras holiday February 20-22!
Final drafts of fantasy/sci fi narrative will be due Friday Feb. 24. Remember, final drafts must be 2-3 typed pages in length, double-spaced, standard font size and style (size 12, Times New Roman).
You are expected to update and improve your final draft based on feedback I give you on your rough draft.
