Agenda and Homework February 27 - March 2

Agenda

We're starting our new unit, propaganda and persuasion, this week!  We'll start on Monday by reviewing essential terminology, and then we'll complete activities that will help us practice identifying different types of persuasion in the media.

Monday the 27th is the due date for sci fi/fantasy narratives.  You are expected to turn in your final draft along with your pre-writing, rough draft, and rubric.

Homework

Read!  Especially if you have not reached your AR goal yet.  The due date - March 16 - is fast approaching.

Please bring in 1 used magazine.  You do not have to go out and buy new magazines!!  Look around your house, or ask friends, relatives, or neighbors if they will donate a used magazine they no longer want.  The magazines can be on any subject (sports, travel, fashion, news, etc.) as long as they are appropriate for school use.
